For Thanksgiving many people have many traditional foods. Most people have turkey, cranberry sauce, green bean casserole, and stuffing. My family always meets at my dad's mom's house for our thanksgiving, all of the kids play, the women cook, and the men watch football. On the thanksgivings that have nice weather, all of the cousins go outside and play football.
When lunch is ready we all sit in the big table and collect our food. My Uncle Tony says a prayer and we eat. I fill my plate with mashed potatoes, turkey(light meat), cranberries(my favorite), green bean casserole, and everything else on the table. As we eat, I talk to all the family members I hadn't see since my birthday or even longer.
After we eat, the guys go into the family room to watch the annual Cowboys game. My cousin, Chloe, and I go in and watch too. The women in the kitchen finish doing dishes and go talk and watch the game in the other living room. The kids who are to young for football go to the toy room and play the video games.
After the football game is over and everybody says their good byes we get on the road and go back home to Hesston and await Christmas break.
